Free event series from 16 to 25 September 2020
With the aim of further expanding cooperation between business and science, promoting regional value creation and actively supporting Thuringian companies in meeting current and future challenges, the first cross-industry event of the Thuringia Cross-Cluster Initiative (CCIT) will start on September 16, 2020.
Under the title "Cross-Cluster Week Thuringia: Virtual Networking - Regional Cooperation", a total of 12 conferences, online seminars, workshops and expert forums will be held throughout Thuringia until September 25, 2020, where companies can exchange information about current trends, research projects and cooperation projects.
During the cross-cluster week, participants will gain insights into possible applications of quantum technology, product life cycle management, development trends in sensor technology, digitization and AI or the decarbonization of energy supply for industry in Thuringia. As early as April 2020, 19 Thuringian networks and institutions joined forces across all industries to form the Cross-Cluster Initiative (CCIT). The key reason for this was the desire to provide Thuringia's companies with uncomplicated, comprehensive information and support options that make it easier for them to network, cooperate and operate successfully in the current difficult situation. The network managers held weekly virtual meetings to bring together the companies' needs, requests and wishes. It became clear, for example, that a large number of companies Corona was confronted with delivery bottlenecks. The CCIT reacted quickly to this situation by summarizing supply and demand on the website of the Netzwerk-Timer Thüringen (https://netzwerktimer-thueringen.de) within a very short period of time and networking corresponding companies with each other.
