Conference cancelled due to Corona pandemic
From 27-29. April 2020, the future of smart textiles was to be discussed in Weimar. But the spread of the Covid19 virus makes such an internationally oriented conference impossible and would endanger the health of the visitors, speakers and the organising team. Therefore InMotion2020 must unfortunately be cancelled. Already bought tickets will be refunded of course.
The InMotion2020 was intended to provide new insights into the technological development and new application possibilities of Smart Textiles, especially in the automotive, aeronautics and personal protective equipment sectors. The InMotion2020 Smart Textiles International Conference was planned in Weimar as an international and interdisciplinary event and aimed to be a mediator between R&D and practice.
Speakers from all over Europe were to present current research results and examples of best practice for discussion. In addition to a varied scientific programme, practical workshops, matchmaking sessions for making new business contacts were also planned - as well as an attractive supporting programme with a guided tour of the Bauhaus Museum Weimar and a city tour of the cultural and university city of Weimar.
But due to the current infection situation in the world the conference InMotion2020 unfortunately cannot take place.
