Materials science, engineering and textile science – How does AI influence research?
The Smarttex network is part of CONTEXT and is supporting CONTEXT member Aleksandra Ivanoska-Dacik from North Macedonia in her study on the use of AI-based tools in materials science, textile science and engineering.
To gain a comprehensive picture of how AI is influencing research methods across national borders, career stages and levels of expertise, this study brings together researchers from 38 participating countries.

The survey:
• is anonymous and voluntary
• takes approximately 8–10 minutes
The results will be analysed and prepared for publication. One active contributor per country, who supports the dissemination of the findings and helps to ensure broad national participation, will be invited to contribute as a co-author.
