Technical textiles meet lightweight construction
Together with several member companies of the SmartTex network, we presented ourselves at the International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles in Chemnitz on 29/30 May 2018.
The trade fair duo mtex + and LiMA has repositioned themselves and has presented itself as an industry get-together of short distances.
Once again we has organized a Thuringian joint stand (funded by the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society). This makes it affordable for smaller companies to participate in the fair. In addition to the exhibition stand, we also organized several workshops under the motto: Textile Technologies + Interdisciplinary Competencies = Smart Textiles. The following workshops took place:
- Integration and potting of electronic components in textiles
- RFID-Sensors and Possibilities of Connection and Visualization of Textile Sensors
- Manufacture, Properties and Applications of Technical Layers on Textile Carriers
